Quebec, New York, Vermont, Maine. 'A Map of the Inhabited Part of Canada from the French Surveys; with the Frontiers of New York and New England from the Large Survey'. Title on a bluff with trees, waterfalls, rocks. In foreground two figures in European dress examine a skin offered by an native American Indian holding a bow; another Indian seated smokes a pipe of peace. Dedicated to Major General John Burgoyne. Scale: 1 inch to about 12.5 miles. List of British regiments with their winter quarters in 1776. By Claude Joseph Sauthier. Engraved by William Faden, London, 1777.
