Map shows the central and eastern areas of the USA, between the Gulf of Mexico and the Great Lakes. Key to symbols. Scale: 1 inch to about 65 miles. Drawn by Henry A Burr, Topographer to the Post Office Department, Washington, DC. Engraved by J M Atweed. Published by J Disturnell, New York, 1855.
