Area now in Canada. 'Boundary Maps and Awards of British and American Commissioners under the Reciprocity Treaty of 1854'. Record Book 1, a bound volume of charts of the Fishery Commission relating to rivers in the Maritime Provinces and Quebec. Thirty-two pages of manuscript charts, and one lithographed copy of John Dewe's and W B Snow's map of Prince Edward Island prepared for the Postmaster General. On alternate pages are printed extracts from the Commissioners' report signed at various dates between 1856 and 1860 by M H Perley, and John Hubbard, British and American Commissioners, which specify reserved fishing limits. An alphabetical index to rivers, arranged by provinces is at the front of the volume.
