United States of America: Oregon, Washington, British Columbia. 'Map of the Oregon Territory by the U.S. Exploring Expediton'. Shows land to the west of the Rocky Mountains, with tribal boundaries marked. Northern area mapped from information from the Hudson Bay Company, the eastern area from Lieutenant Fremont's findings. Inset map shows American Indian settlements on the Colombia River. Scale: 1 inch to 50 miles. (Inset: 1 inch to 12 miles). Charles Wilkes, surveyor. James Wyld, publisher.
