Canada: 'The Island of Newfoundland showing the Electoral Districts from Official Surveys by John Arrowsmith': shows main French fishing areas and areas which the French government might consent to release from the terms of the Treaty of Versailles, 1783. Map also shows railways and explorers' routes and bears notes on the country and vegetation. Scale: 1 inch to about 20 miles. Inset map of Belle Isle Strait. Bears note 'Enclosed in Messrs. Ford and Pennells' Report addressed to the Colonial Office from Paris dated 13th March 1884'.
