Map in three sections, showing territory in dispute between Canada and the United States, land grants on the St John River, between Grand Falls and the River St Francis, with the course of the Madawaska River. Also shows lands held by occupation and roads to be opened. Place-names, numbered lots, portages. Scale: 4 inches to 5 miles. Compass indicator, irregular. Copy of original map signed by John Simcoe Saunders, Surveyor General, 15 May 1841.
