Map shows the lines of Brazilian, Spanish and French cable companies. Scale: 1 inch to about 360 miles. Keys to cable routes and to the ownership of African coastal territory. F le B Bedwell, Royal Navy, surveyor. Malby and Sons, lithographers. Noted as a copy map sent to Mr Patey of the Post Office by Mr Pender, Admiralty Assistant Hydrographer, and Lord Monck.
