Description

Royal Geographical Society map of Guatemala, to illustrate Mr A P Maudslay's paper. Shows administrative divisions, Maudslay's route. Scale: 1 inch to 23 miles. Compass indicators. Beside the map are plans of the ruins near Quirigua and the ruins of Tikal, and the ruined town on the Usumacinta River, at a scale of 1 inch to 280 feet. Below are four more detailed plans of houses. Drawn by H Sharban, RGS; lithographed by Edward Weller, Red Lion Square, Lithographer.
