Description

Panama Canal: 'Plan topographique de la région du canal dressé d'après les etudes faites par la Compagnie du Canal Interocéanique'. Map of railway and canal routes, the channel coloured red and the embankment yellow. Contours, soundings. Scale: 1 inch to about one third of a mile. Compass indicators. Three sections through the canal. An enclosure in Acting-Consul Mallett's despatch number 44 of 23 August 1886.
