General map of Uruguay showing administrative divisions, towns, roads, railways, telegraphs, cable routes, soundings. Made at the military school of the 'Artes y Oficios.' Much of the border has been trimmed including the title, inset views and part of a scroll containing portraits in decorative frames of members of the Government, of which only the lower portion remains. A view of the Capilla Jackson survives. Also shows railways, roads. Scale: 1 inch to about 30 miles. Key to symbols used. Compass indicator. Enclosure in Mr Palgrave's dispatch number 13 Commercial of 1 July 1885.
