Map of the Dominion of Canada, showing the proposed St Lawrence Seaway and the enlargement of the Canal system to connect the Lakes with the ocean, as recommended by the Canal Commissioners in their letter to the Secretary of State of 24 February 1871. Railways and administrative divisions shown. Scale: 1 inch to 40 miles.
