Scale:1 inch to 15 miles. Insets: Victoria District showing soundings (1 inch to 3 miles); 'Plan of Friendly Cove in Nootka Sound by Sir Edwd. Belcher' (1 inch to 200 yards); world map showing relative positions of the British Isles and Vancouver Island. Published 11 April 1853.
