'A Map of Part of Yucatan or of that part of the Eastern Shore within the Bay of Honduras alloted to Great Britain for the Cutting of Logwood, in consequence of the Convention signed with Spain on the 14th July, 1786. By a Bay-Man ...'. showing progress of a Spanish expedition in 1754; houses of baymen; boundaries; areas for cutting logwood; British settlements. Title in oval cartouche. Reference table. Scale: 1 inch to 6 geographical miles. Compass star with lines and compass indicator. In the margin are printed extracts from the Treaty of Peace of 1783 and from the Convention with Spain of 1786. Inset 'Mosquitia or the Mosquito Shore with the Eastern Part of Yucatan as far as the 20th Degree of North Latitude...' at a scale of 1 inch to 25 nautical leagues. Printed for William Faden, Geographer to the King, London, 1 February 1787.
