Tables of statistics of area and population, and authorities for the compilation. Compiled in the Bureau of the Corps of Topographical Engineers for the State Department, under the direction of Colonel J J Abert, Chief of the Corps, by 1st Lieutenant W H Emory, War Department, 1844.
