North America: Oregon, British Columbia. Two maps showing 'the disputed territory of Columbia or Oregon'. (1) Shows the boundaries laid down by various treaties, and those suggested by England and America. 'From the large Map of M. Duflot de Mofras and other recent and authentic sources'. The boundary settled by the treaty of 1846 is inserted in manuscript as well as British, Russian, American and Spanish territories. Reference table and notes on Oregon and its treaties. (2) Map of the Pacific Ocean showing the Oregon territory in relation to the rest of America, Australia, China and south-east Asia. W and A K Johnston, Edinburgh, publishers and engravers.
