Area in South Africa: Cape Province. 'Map of the Country from Algoa Bay to the Great Kei River, Cape of Good Hope, being the Eastern Frontier and the country of the adjacent Kaffirs'. The map shows military posts and colonial boundary. Scale: 1 inch to 8 miles. Table of latitudes of some places on the map. Compass indicator. Compiled under the direction of Lieutenant Colonel Piper, Royal Engineers. April 1847. Lithographed by James Wyld, Geographer to the Queen.
