West Africa. IDWO 1150. 'Map of the countries to the West of the Middle and Lower Niger'. Reference table. Manuscript additions show proposed and actual frontiers, the dates of treaties, and British and French garrisons and posts with date 4 October 1897. The map also shows British and French posts, the penetration inland, and includes notes on the strengths of garrisons. Boundary lines are shown. The map extends from 4 degrees west to 6 degrees east and to 14 degrees north. Published 22 October 1897; corrected to March 1898.
