Area now in Nigeria: Niger River. Admiralty chart 2776 a-i. 'River Kwara, Sheets I to IX; examined by Lieut. [Lietenant] J.W. [recte H] Glover, 1857-8-9 [1857-1859] ...'. Scale: 1 inch to about 29 yards. Compass stars. Insets of anchorages. Malby and Sons, lithographers. Published 1860-1863. Corrections to January 1880. Manuscript additions show route up the River Niger, factories, missions, and land bought by HM Commissioners for the Crown, 14 September 1841, from the King of Iddah. Manuscript notes by J R Leaver and R C[apper]. Each sheet is stamped 'Robert Capper, 4:xi:84'. Signed by J R Leaver, September 1882.
