Area now in the Democratic Republic of Congo (formerly known as Zaire). 'Map of the Route of Lieut [Lieutenant] Lemaire's Expedition in the South Congo 1898-1900'. The map shows villages, natural features, notes on soil and vegetation. Compass indicators. 23 sheets. The title is in manuscript. The sheets were originally numbered 1-10 and 16-27.
