Map of areas now in Gambia and Senegal. IDWO 1121 (a-d). Intelligence Division 848 (a-d). 'Map of the Boundary between the English and French Possessions in Senegambia from the coast to the points beyond which the boundary follows the River Gambia at an even distance of 10 kilometres from either bank'.The survey was carried out by the Anglo-French Commission of Delimitation from December 1890 to April 1891. Four sheets. Drawn by Colonel W G Gibson, Royal Engineers. Sheets 2 and 4 signed by Captain A H Kenney, Royal Engineers, British Commissioner, 2 May 1891 and 11 June 1891. Ordnance Survey Office, Southampton. The last sheet has the separate title 'Map of the Anglo-French Boundary in Senegambia delimited by the Anglo-French Commission in May 1891 ... up to the Eastern limit of the Boundary, 10 kilometres East of Yarbutenda'. In addition to the reproduction of Kenney's signature it shows, on sheet 3, the signature of Lieutenant Colonel E R Hussey, Royal Engineers, and the date 18 October 1895.
