Atlas containing facsimiles of world maps, hydrographic charts and historical maps from the 11th-17th centuries, showing mostly west and north-west African coastline. Cartouche decorated with drawings of buildings, ships and kings. Various scales. Compass roses. Facsimiles engraved by L Bouffard and lithographed by Lemercier, Benard et Cie. Published at the expense of the Portuguese Government. Printed by Fain et Thunot, Paris, 1842.
