Admiralty charts 1363 and 1365. Chart of area now in Liberia, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast [Côte d'Ivoire]. 'Sherbro Island to Cape Mesurado ... 1836-8' and 'Cape Mesurado to Cape Palmas ... 1836-8'. Two charts on one sheet. Coloured manuscript additions by E J Powell, Hydrographical Office, Admiralty, 9 January 1862, show extent of Liberia, its towns, rivers and counties, territory purchased by Liberia up to 1857 and tribal areas. Scale: 1 inch to about 8.5 miles. Compass stars. Surveyed 1836-1838. Engraved by J and C Walker. Published 28 July 1841 with later additions.
