IDWO 860. North-east Africa. 'A Map of the Nile Basin, compiled for the "Account of Mahdiïsm and the Sudan"'. Map shows sphere of influence of independent Congo State, territories leased to Belgium by Great Britain, territory leased to Great Britain by Congo State, and frontier of Italian sphere (Ethiopia) under Anglo-Italian Agreement of April 1891. Reference table. By Major Wingate, Royal Artillery, under the direction of Lieutenant Colonel J C Dalton, 1891. Produced in the Intelligence Division, War Office. Compiled at Stanford's Geographical Establishment. Additions made June 1894.
