North-east Africa. 'A Map of the Nile, from the Equatorial Lakes to the Mediterranean, embracing the Eastern Sudan (Kordofan, Darfur etc.) and Abyssinia ...'. Political map showing railways and surveys and explorations of Emin, Junker and Stanley in Eastern Equatorial Africa. Printed and published by E Stanford, London, July 1889. Manuscript additions illustrate agreement of 3 August 1889 between Italy and Imperial British East Africa Company, including a note on the agreement.
