Map showing the Anglo-German frontier, caravan routes of the Imperial British East Africa Company, location of tribes with whom treaties had been made, places, rivers, notes on country. Manuscript additions show the route of Pigott and Bateman in Kenya in 1889. Insets: 'The Region of the Kilimanjaro 1862'; 'Rough Plan of the Lower Ozi and Tana'; 'The N E Corner of the Victoria Nyanza 1883'; 'Rough Sketch of the Region between the Upper Nile and Samburu' and 'Mombasa or Mvita'.
