Map of area now in Liberia, Ivory Coast, Sierra Leone; shows 'the territory claimed by the Republic of Liberia', and territories between the Rivers Shebar and San Pedro acquired between 1822 and 1852. Also shows counties, tribal areas, rivers (mainly coastal) and towns. Does not show the extent of the north-western boundary. Scale: 1 inch to about 10.5 miles. Compass star. Compiled by the Liberian Government, 4 July 1861.
