Admiralty Chart 1861. Chart of area now in Benin and Nigeria: 'West Coast of Africa, Sheet XVI, Porto Novo to Jaboo'. Scale: 1 inch to about 4 sea miles. Compass rose. Insets: seven views of the coast, including illustration of French claim to Cutunu [Cotonou]. Surveyed by Captain H M Denham, Royal Navy, 1846, and others. Engraved by J and C Walker. Published 10 May 1848. Additions to 1877.
