River Congo: sketch chart of the reach from Boma to the sea. Shows soundings, anchorages, place names, track from Boma to Santo Antonio, buildings, hills in perspective on the northern bank. Near the river mouth is a painting of a boat, propelled by five natives, with a European figure standing, using a telescope; his dress suggests a mid-nineteenth century date for the map.
