Four plans submitted with 'Return of Lights and Lighthouses, British Colonies', House of Commons paper 656 of 1850. Showing British and foreign lights and lighthouses, and proposed lighthouses. (1) Ionian Islands, at a scale of 1 inch to 40 miles. (2) Malta, at a scale of 1 inch to 70 miles. (3) South Africa. Reference table. Scale: 1 inch to about 80 miles. Part of a larger sheet. (4) West Africa; 'North' added as 'North-West' in the title has been added in manuscript. Reference table. Scale: 1 inch to about 200 miles. Cut from a larger sheet. Lithographed, coloured; lithographed by Standidge and Company; printed by H Hansard for the House of Commons, 1 August 1850. Dimensions: (3) 36 cm x 16 cm; (4) 26 cm x 14 cm.
