Album of 54 French Admiralty charts and views of ports and other points along the east coast executed between 1846-1848 by the brig Ducouedic under the command of Captain M Guillain. With illustrations of towns, ships, indigenous people (showing traditional dress), implements, architecture. One reference table. Compass indicators. Maps engraved; drawings lithographed and tinted. Lithographed by Messrs Bayot, E Cïceri, J Jacottet, Sabatier and C Vogt after Messrs Caraguel and Bridet, Enseignes de Vaisseau. Arthus Bertrand, Editeur. Printed by Mme Bouchard-Huzard, Paris.
