Admiralty Chart 596 of area now in South Africa, Namibia, Mozambique. 'South Africa, Sheet IV from Hollams Island to Cape Correntes including the Cape of Good Hope ... under the direction of Captn. W.F.W. Owen from 1822 to 1826 ...'. Includes table of lights. Scale: 1 inch to about 40 sea miles. Compass roses. Seven insets of bays and ports. Engraved by J and C Walker. Published 10 August 1827. Manuscript additions: reference to an Admiralty letter of 7 December 1883 respecting Possession Island and others to the north of it, all underlined in red (see FO 64/1101).
