IDWO 1085. 'The Italian Sphere of Influence in Africa': map. Coloured additions made in November 1895 show Abyssinian boundaries as occupied and as claimed by Note of 10 April 1891, proposed new Somali frontier, and boundary of French Protectorate. Reference table to boundaries. Lithographed at the War Office, January 1895. Enclosed in Mr Rodd's despatch of 18 May 1897. The additions suggest that this map was to serve as model for a later printing.
