Area now in Sudan, Central African Republic, Ethiopia, Egypt. IDWO 1374. 'Map to show spread of Mahdist's Revolt 1882-88'; from Wingate's Mahdiism in the Egyptian Sudan. Map of the Nile Basin, compiled by Major Wingate, Royal Artillery, under the direction of Lieutenant Colonel JC Dalton. A base map of IDWO 860 was overprinted and reissued as IDWO 1374 in October 1898.
