Shows British, French, German, Italian and Portuguese possessions. Coloured manuscript additions show territories acquired by treaties with native chiefs in Imperial British East Africa. Reference table: manuscript and typed reference table to territories secured under treaties since the grant of the Company's Charter. Inset: 'Town and Harbour of Mombasa'. Issued by the Imperial British East Africa Company.
