Description

Precedent books of legal memoranda, cases, forms of writ and commission, and rules for transacting business within the Petty Bag Office.

There is also a register of the varieties of writ dealt with by the clerks of the Petty Bag, which contains details of the fees they charged.

There are, in addition, precedent books and a register of writs compiled by the cursitors, which were inherited by the Petty Bag Office on the abolition of the cursitors in 1835.
