Description

A Decree and Order Book of the Court of General Surveyors. Among the fly-leaves are two of an alphabetical index in an early nineteenth century hand, and six of a contemporary alphabetical index of names only. As marginal headings are the names of the persons to whom the decrees were granted; each entry has as a caption the date of the decree. Easter, 34 Henry VIII to Trinity, 38 Henry VIII.
