Gibraltar: 4 sheets: (1) Admiralty chart 144: 'Gibraltar. By Captain W H Smyth, Royal Navy KSF'. Pencilled additions show extensions to the moles and defences. Scale: 6.5 inches to 1 nautical mile. Compass rose. Magnetic variation 1824. Inset view: 'The New Mole-head; Ape's-hill and Ceuta in the distance'. Engraved by J & C Walker. Published at the Hydrographical Office, Admiralty, 10 May 1833. (2)-(3) Plans and sections of the sea wall at the dock yard, showing proposed repairs and alterations. Scale: 8 inches to 600 feet; plan and section of dam: 7.5 inches to 30 feet. (4) 'Sketch of the Dock Yard Gibraltar': view south to fort and new mole. All signed by W Scamp, to accompany Captain H R Brandreth's report of 20 August 1841; this report was not found in ADM 1/5510 or WO 44/137. Sheet sizes between 31 cm x 48 cm and 54 cm x 73 cm.
