Egerton Leigh, Doctor of Laws.: Settlement made upon the defendant's marriage with Anne the daughter of Hamlet Yate (formerly of Aston Parks (Chester), and late of Chester City). Accounts between said Hamlet Yate and defendant. The value, &c., of defendant's estates in the counties of Chester and Lancaster (of which Hamlet Yate is said to have had the management), including a tenement or farm, &c., in High Leigh (Chester) called "Burgesses" and "The Parks," in the occupation of Geo. Burges; a capital messuage, &c., in High Leigh called "The West Hall," &c., in the possession of Wm. Venables; a moiety of an estate in High Leigh called "Gleaves Tenement," in the possession of Peter Jackson. Tenements, &c., in High Leigh in the possessions of Joseph Occleston, James Bate, Thos. Peacock, Thos. Whitfield, John Leigh, Peter Barlow, Wm. Birchall, the family of the Egertons, of Tatton, John Leathes, Thos. Chorlton, John Rowlinson, Saml. Newton, Anne Harper, Peter Burgess, Thos.
