Bell, Nathaniel Hills, Nicholas Mercator, Elizabeth Manning, Joseph Sale, Samuel Parminter, Sir Henry Marshall, Edmond Coffin, Samuel Peirce, William Stooke,John Cross, John Williams, and His Majesty's Attorney-General.: Amount and value of the malt supplied by the plaintiff and Emanuel Hole (plaintiff's father), maltsters in the city of Exeter, to Joseph Crew, Esq. (defendant's late husband), collector of customs of Exeter, and contractor or agent for taking care of the French and Spanish prisoners during the late war between England, France, and Spain; said malt being supplied between the years 1744 and 1748, to be made into beer for the use of said prisoners located at Exeter (Devon).
