Henry Wood, John Simpson, Boynton Boynton, Wm. Arthur. v. Robert Reading, Esq., Thos. Reading, Esq.: Orders made at the courts or sessions of sewers held by the Commissioners of Sewers for the level of Hatfield Chase from 1716 to 1721. Flooding of and injury to the ancient lands as well as of those "improved" and drained in said level in the years 1721 and 1722 caused by the excessive fullness of the river Trent. Touching the drain called "Snow Sewer" adjoining several of the lands which "the defendants farm of the plaintiffs," &c., &c. [The names of Matthew Boynton, Esq. (of whom the plaintiff Boynton, is said to be nephew and heir), Wm. Simpson, Esq. (of whom the plaintiff John Simpson is said to be son and heir), John Ramsden, Esq. (of whom Elizth, now the widow and relict of Mr. Roundell, of the city of York, is daughter and heir), Michael Wharton, gent., Henry Wood, gent. (of whom the plaintiff Henry Wood is said to be son and heir), John Arthur, gent. (of whom plaintiff Wm. Arthur is said to be son and heir) are mentioned.]: York
