Edwd. Strong, senr., Edwd. Strong, junior. v. The most Noble John Duke of Marlborough, Sir John Vanbrugh, Knt., and the Attorney-General. And revived between: Edwd. Strong, junior, the surviving complainant. v. The most Noble Sarah Duchess Dowager of Marlborough, John Duke of Mountagu, Scroop Duke of Bridgewater, Francis Earl Godolphin, Willm. Clayton, Wm. Guidott, and John Hanbury, esquires, executors of the last will and testament of the said John late Duke of Marlborough.: "Bills or accounts of the building of the house or castle called Blenheim," situate at Woodstock, in the county of Oxford. [A gift of the British Parliament to the Duke of Marlborough on account and in honour and commemoration of his victory over the French at Hochstet or Blenheim in Germany.] Touching the cost of materials, &c., used in the erection of said building, particularly the quantity and price of Burford stone, &c., &c. [Sir John Vanbrugh (one of the defendants), who was appointed architect, Edwd.
