John Paxton, gent.: Treaty or agreement for the purchase (by defendant of plaintiff) of "the mannor or lordship or reputed mannor or lordship, village, or hamblet, called Pespool, in the county of Durham, and the several messuages, lands, and tenements heretofore the estate of Matthias Partis;" afterwards in the several possessions of Robert Lawson, of East Chirton (Northumberland), Esq., Robt. Forster, son of Ralph Forster, and Jonathan Roddam (plaintiff's late husband). Mortgages, &c., &c. [The names and possessions of Fletcher Partis (son of said Matthias), Wm. Midford, John Lawson, doctor in physick, are mentioned.]: Newcastle-upon-Tyne; Northumberland.
