Alleged contempt of Court of Exchequer committed by Mary Craister and John Craister by breach of an injunction (served upon them in a cause, Sir Carnaby Haggerston, Bart., and the tenants of Norham manor, against the Dean and Chapter of Durham, John Craister, and others) directed to the defendants, and all claiming under them any lands, &c., in Shoreswood or Shoreswood East Houses (Durham), (farmed by said John Craister under said Dean and Chapter) for quieting the plaintiffs in possession of said manor, and for restraining defendants, and all claiming under them, from intercommoning any of their cattle within said wastes, except in Stobbs Cross and Whiteridge.
