Sir Robert Raymond (Attorney-General), at the relation of Geo. Clark and John Hughes, churchwardens of the parish church of Rucking (Kent), and Simon Fry and Thos. Raight, overseers of said parish. v. Thos. Hodges, gent., and Thos. Brett (an infant) under the age of one-and-twenty years, by Mary Brett, widow, his guardian, "and others.": Three pieces or parcels of fresh marsh land, heretofore four pieces, commonly called or known by the name of "Cobbs Lease" alias "Cobb's Crouch," in the parish of Rucking, in the county of Kent. Touching a contract or agreement entered into by William Brett (father of defendant Thomas) with "Peter Martin, brother of the other defendant Robt. Martin," for the selling and conveying of said marshland to said Peter, &c., &c. Also touching the lands of said William Brett, lying in Ashford (Kent), called "the Pellicars," lately belonging to his father Wm. Brett (defendant's grandfather), and said to have been charged by the will of said Wm. Brett (defendant's father) with the annual payment of twenty shillings to the poor of said parish of Ashford, &c., &c. Also touching said testator William Brett's lands in Whey St., in the parishes of Rucking and Snave, &c., &c.: Kent
