John Short the elder, gent.: Manors and lordships of Iham alias Higham and Winchelsea, and defendant's lands ("gained from the sea") called "The Outlands" or "The Pett Salts," the port and liberty of Winchelsea, a sea wall dividing said lands from fresh marsh lands, the manor of Pett, and Mersham, &c., &c.
