Thomas Price, esquire v. Benjamin Nicholas, gent.: Manor or lordship of Langattog Coed Morgan (Monmouth), of which Chas. Price (plaintiff's late father) was owner or lord. Touching lands in Lanvaire called "Cae" or "Cae Durgy," lately belonging to Roderick Gwin, of Lanvaire Kilgeddin, esquire, and since his death to his son Saml Gwin, and sold by him to Benjn Nicholas (the now defendant). For which lands plaintiff claims a chief rent as due to his said manor of Langattog, but on the part of the defendant it is stated that said lands lie within the lordship of Bergavenny, belonging to the Lord Bergavenny, and the lordship of Lanvaire Kilgeddin, belonging to Wm. Morgan, Esq., &c., &c. [The name of Howell Gwin (plaintiff's grandfather) is mentioned.]: Monmouth
