Description

Dame Julian Putt, widow and the sole executrix of Sir Thomas Putt, Bart., Reymunde Putt, Edwd. Putt. v. The Honble. Robert Price, Esqre., Sir John Trevelyan, Bart., Bampfield Rodd, Esq., Sir John Doyley and his wife Susannah, Ursula Gorsuch, widow, Robert Earl of Roscommon.: Last will and testament of Sir Thos. Putt, Bart. (plaintiff's late husband), (a copy of which is subjoined), and the jointure settlement made by him on plaintiff Julian before their marriage. Touching the estate of said Sir Thomas Putt, Bart. (mentioned in said will), viz., that farm or estate called "Venu," "being part of what she brought me in marriage," the manors of Gittesham, Lympston, Salterton, and Grendle, the bartons and farms of Combe, Brimland, and Grendle (Devon), the manors of Barrington, Bowdage, and Martock, and the several bartons and farms of Cotleigh, Wonton alias Woolmington, Brushford, and Beir (Somerset and Dorset), the manor of Stockland (Dorset), the manor of Stoke Cannon (Devon), &c., &c. [The names of Mrs. Frances Durant (wife of Nathaniel Durant), testator's sister-in-law, Mrs. Charity and Julian Hele (testator's daughters-in-law), Edward, Margaret, Elizth, and Mary (son and daughters of testator's uncle Richard Putt), testator's aunt Haydon, Lady Katherine Dillon (testator's niece), Lady Susannah Doyley (testator's sister), Anne Goare (testator's niece and goddaughter) are mentioned as legatees in said will.]: Devon; Somerset; Dorset.
