Description

The most Noble Anna Duchess of Buccleuch, and the Right Hon. Francis Scott, commonly called Earle of Dalkeith, Henry Earle de Lorraine, Henry Earl of Rochester, William Lord Berkley, Baron of Stratton, James Davenant, an infant, under the age of one-and-twenty years, by Mary Davenant, widow, his mother and next friend, Maurice Johnson, gent., and John Richards (an infant), under the age of twenty-one years, by the said Maurice Johnson, his next friend. v. Edward Wallpoole, esquire.: Manor of Spalding (Lincoln) and rents in Spalding and Pinchbeck (Lincoln), claimed by the said Duchess (the now plaintiff). Lease made to Sir Stephen Walpoole in the 36th year of King Charles the Second by the trustees of Her Majesty Catherine, Queen Consort of the said King Charles the Second, &c., &c. [The names and possessions of John Richards, the Right Hon. James Scott, commonly called Earl of Doncaster and Dalkeith, Anthony Rowe, Esq., Charles Peak, gent., George Davenant, gent., Sir John Walpoole, Sir Edward Walpoole, Knt., Dymock Walpoole, brother of said Sir Edward and Sir John, Stephen Walpoole, late of the parish of St. Andrew's, Holborn, apothecary (likewise brother of said Sir John and Sir Edward), and father of Mary Tankred,"another deft. to the compl'ts' bill," Robert Bissle, late of Pinchbeck (Lincoln), gent., Walter Johnson, late of Spalding (father of the plaintiff Maurice Johnson), Martin Johnson (eldest son of said Walter), are mentioned.] [See also No. 27 in this term.]: Lincoln
