Description

The Right Hon. John Earl of Exeter, Peter Walter, esquire, Noah Neal, Esq., and the Attorney-General. v. Thomas Robertson, "one of the defts.": Manor, lordship, and soke of Kirton, and the hundreds of Kirton, Reek, Algar, &c. Metes and bounds. Survey. Customs of manor, &c., &c. Rents called "Cullyer rents," claimed as due to the lord of said manor. [The names and possessions of Daniel Hunt, Wm. Jackson, of Duddington, Joseph Kerchever, of Wiberton, husbandman, Mary Kerchever, widow, Nicholas Graves, late of Wiberton, Theophilus Graves, of Wiberton, Thos. Graves, of Kirton, a survey made by Thos. Earl of Exeter in the fourth year of King James the First, an Act of Parliament made in the first year of the late Queen Anne, entitled "An Act for the sale of certain mannors and lands of John late Earl of Exeter for payt of the debts and performance of the will of the said Earle," a grant of land in Wiberton by King Charles the Second to Sir Geo. Carterett, Bart., lands in Wiberton called "the King's lands," Nicholas Waldegrave, "owner of another mannor in Wiberton besides the King's mannor, commonly called or known by the name of Titton or Waldegrave's Mannor," John Robertson (father of defendant), and John Robertson (brother of defendant) are mentioned.] [See also 4 & 5 Geo. 1., Trin., No. 14 in this Calendar.]: Lincoln
