Sir John Wrottesley, Bart. v. Richard Creswell, esquire, Isaac Crutchley.: Township or village of Tettenhall and the villages or places of Antherley alias Alderly, Barhurst, Cronckhall, Billbrook, Wrottesley, Penford, Perton, Codsall, Bovenhill, the manor of Tettenhall Clericorum, or Clercks Tettenhall, and the "manor or prebends of Wrottesley and Codsall," and the waste lands belonging. "Have the Lords of Tettenhall Clericorum alwayes had the wasts in all parts of the mannor, did any of the lords of the prebends of Bovenhill, Penford, and Perton, ever pretend any title to any of the wast lands, com'on lanes, or com'on wayes, within the precincts of the said mannor of Tettenhall Clericorum: doe or doe not all the said prebends of Bovenhill and Penford lye within the mannor of Tettenhall Clericorum; is not the lord of Tettenhall Clericorum Lord Paramount, and alwayes claimed the wasts and wast grounds, as well such parts as lie agt the said mannor of Tettenhall Clericorum, as such part of the wast grounds as lye near to or adjoyning to all or any of the prebends; did the lords of any of the prebends of Bovenhill, Penford, and Perton, or any of them, ever claim any right or title to all or any of the wast or wast lands adjoyning to the said prebends; do not all the persons that live upon the prebends so every of them appeare at the courts held for the lord of the mannor of Tettenhall Clericorum?
